Talking to a compassionate and professional therapist in a safe and non-judgemental setting can bring about some relief. This is the first step to getting help. 
I believe in investing in relationships. By that I mean, it is a very important aspect of how I choose to live. Feeling connected to the people in our lives is the insurance we need to weather through some tough times that life throws at us periodically.
