Joevy Chin
Mental Health Counsellor
(KB09060, PA08666)
Professional approach
Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief-Therapy (SFBT), and Mindfulness Based Therapy.
My approaches allow me to focus on the present circumstances, issues, and goals of a client rather than focusing or dwelling solely on the past and things that is beyond their control.
Besides that, I believe that having better self-awareness and being able to learn to embrace life more presently is key in driving and sustaining positive changes. I support my clients with empathy, genuine concern, care, and by being non-judgmental in order to help them weather through the storm.
